About Sharon Huston

I am a community-college instructor teaching multimedia classes and developing online teaching materials My goal is to help my students become fearless digital citizens. I want them to research new technologies, test and evaluate the technolgies, and then use the technologies to make life more enjoyable. I also believe in a host of supporting skills, namely creativity, flexibility, standards, communication, current technologies, how to educate oneself, and how to master the complexities of leading a digital life.

I've been teaching multimedia, web and graphic design since 1996 for the Dallas County Community College District. I'm proud of my district's multicultural population, devotion to innovation, and excellence in workforce (and academic!) education.
