This is the last day of Spring Break. I've been wrapping it up by playing with an egg marker I bought a few years ago and never touched. It's difficult to use -- I just don't have the dexterity needed -- but I like the finished results. So far I've made a handful of eggs with it, but plan to use it more in the future. Near the beginning of Break I bought two dozen eggs, but I haven't had time to work with them. They've started going bad, so time is of the escensce. I've been making simple striped eggs, which has been quick, easy, and fun. Later on I'll re-wax the eggs, but for now I'm enjoying the simple beauty of the stripes.
I've decided not to buy Rachel's house. This means my "egg rennisance" will end in May when I move out. I'll have to carton everything, and who knows how long it will be until I can play again?
