Chill Out, Baby!

I wasn't feeling too hot on Tuesday but I dragged my sorry ass to Trig class. But I canceled my own evening classes, and went home to be sick. I've stayed that way continuously all week. I missed most of Valentine's day, excepting a few hours I spent doing trig homework with E. This evening I finally dragged myself to a minor emergency center, knowing they wouldn't be crowded on a Friday night. They ran a test, and lo and behold I have Influenza B.

I've never had the flu before. Always strep, strep, strep and more strep. My doctor has only seen this strain of the flu once before, but my sister says they've closed down schools in the Carolinas because the outbreaks are so bad.

I want to be well. We had to cancel the board game party, which I was really looking forward to.
