Page Design Class
Calendar
Saturday | Weekday
| Online
NOTICE: Please help make grading quicker
and easier. At the beginning of the semester you were asked to make
a file called INDEX.HTM, which lists all exercises you are to turn
in this semester. Please make sure you have this file, and (once
you've finished Ch. 9) that all your exercises are linked to it.
Please send
me the complete URL for the page. Please use "ASSIGNMENTS"
as the email subject.
The class calendar lists all activities for each class day. I recommend
tackling the assignments in the order listed. I'll periodically
move days to the bottom of the calendar, so won't
have to scroll as much.
This calendar is written for my on-campus classes, so it shows
two weekdaks -- Monday and Wednesday. Online students ARE NOT expected
to complete work on a weekday schedule. Online students should finish
the week's work by the end of the week. Saturday students are expected
to finish a week's work each week.

HTML
Basics - This is from WebMonkey. I like WebMonkey's style,
but rarely readings from their site as they tend to use highly idiomatic
language, which can be difficult for International students. However,
this article makes HTML sound easy. Since HTML is easy,
I really like this approach. So we'll give the article a try. |

Image Maps: The textbook mentions
an online appendix which teaches image map creation, but it's for
a previous version of Dreamweaver, and isn't useful. Instead, look
at Dreamweaver's Help File. Start Dreamweaver, and press the F1 key
to bring up Help. On the left side you'll see a table of contents.
Click Images. Under Images, click Creating Image Maps. |
